3. Collection and Processing of Personal Data
Log Data
When you visit our website, log data is automatically collected (e.g., IP address, browser, operating system, access time, requested page) . This data is technically necessary to provide the website and ensure its operation. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest in operational security and technical analysis of errors). The log data is deleted after 30 days, unless there is a legal obligation to retain it.
Contact Form
When you use our contact form, we process your information (name, email address, message) to handle your inquiry. If your inquiry is intended to initiate or fulfill a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. In all other cases, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest in processing incoming inquiries). Your information will not be disclosed to third parties, with the exception of the technical service providers listed in Section 4.
Contract Processing
In connection with registrations or bookings, we process your data for the purposes of contract fulfillment, billing, and customer service. The data is disclosed only to service providers necessary for the fulfillment of the contract. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
4. Data Sharing
Data is disclosed to third parties in connection with the technical operation of our website (e.g., to our infrastructure provider Domainfactory; see Section 2), in connection with the performance of a contract, when required by law or by an official order, and to the analytics providers listed in Section 5, provided you have given your consent. Otherwise, no data is disclosed.
5. Analytics Tools
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to analyze user activity. Cookies are set, and data is transferred to Google’s servers in the United States.
The legal basis for the processing is your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. The transfer of data to the United States is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, provided that the respective Google contractual partner (Google Ireland Limited) is certified for this purpose. A data processing agreement with Google has been concluded in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR. The Analytics cookies are stored for a period of 26 months.
You may revoke your consent at any time with future effect by adjusting your selection via the “Cookie Settings” link (see Section 6). Additionally, you can prevent data collection by Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on:
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager to manage tracking tags on our website. Google Tag Manager itself does not process any personal data. It is used solely to implement and control external services (e.g., Google Analytics). The privacy policies of the tools used continue to apply.
6. Consent Banner
When you visit our website for the first time, a consent banner will appear. You actively decide whether to accept or reject cookies for analytics and tracking purposes. Your selection is saved and can be adjusted or revoked at any time via the “Manage-Consent” link.
7. Cookies
We use cookies to make it easier to use the website (e.g., language selection, session management). Essential cookies are enabled automatically. Your consent is required for analytics cookies. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser, but doing so may limit the website’s functionality.
Your choice is saved and can be changed at any time via the “Manage-Consent” link.
8. Data Retention
Personal data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for its intended purpose—unless there are statutory retention periods (e.g., under the German Commercial Code (HGB) or the German Fiscal Code (AO)). In such cases, the data is blocked until it can be deleted.
